Different Jobs that you can volunteer for:
Prep Crew:
- Arrives early to unload trucks
- set up tables
- organize supplies to prepare for distribution
Box Packing Crew:
- Putting the boxes together
- Assists with packing the boxes
- Closing the boxes
- Stacking them on a pallet
Distribution Crew:
- Push shopping carts around to each station
- Load shopping carts
- Get the cart to the car loaders
Car Loaders:
- pack the food into the cars that are coming through the line
- Make sure each car gets all the food that is being distributed
- Keep the cars moving through the line
Tear-Down Crew:
- Tear down tables and put away
- Break down cardboard and load to be taken to recycling
- Make sure everything is cleaned up
Registration Crew:
- Welcome and Assist Clients
- Registers families on the iPad
- Answer Questions they might have
- Direct the family through the line
Setting Shelves:
- Take boxes from warehouse and bring to the assembly line
- unpack boxes for the line
- Make sure everything is organized for box packing
Fundraising:
- Reach out to business for any donations they are able to give
- Plan and organize fundraising opportunities for the pantry
